Day One Summary

Not playing any more today, it's over. Just had a horrible session to finish the day off. Before it started I was +$140 for the day (through 1365 hands) and was heading towards a $200 day for a bit of the final session but the last 100 hands killed me and I've ended up with the figures of:

Days played... 1
Hands... 1803
Total profit... $121.35
Win rate... 13.5ptBBs/100 hands
Time played... 7hrs 55 mins

This little bit of tilt finally forced me to leave all tables before my planned 2k hands were up:

Another one of those 'if my high's no good, my low draw's live' hands but I was fairly sure I was drawing to the low only so getting them in as 40/60 dog was silly tilt born out of frustration at the card-deadedness of the previous million hands.

As card dead as I was for large spells today (only played 21% of hands), the game always seems to throw up loads of interesting hands so I'll try and pick out my favourite few from today:

Put him on exactly the hand he had but wasn't sure of the best thing to do - see a blank turn then make him pay or plonk them in on the flop as I did?:

63% expectation apparently on the flop so it seems okay.

Sick cooler I think:

My play is dodgy throughout but the river fold is an important one. He killed his action completely (I call a pot bet for sure) but every other player I have come across at this level calls the shove with my hand so I don't blame him at all:

Nice to have some hands hold up and even some hit draws in there.

Bit tired and the rain's depressing me so I'm going to sleep.

Or maybe I'll watch The Apprentice final on BBCiPlayer with a cup of tea, who knows.
